Interaction of functions and products
This year the LQ Group presented efficient solutions for control and installation technology at both SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, the leading show in Europe for electrical automation, and the international electronica trade fair in Munich. High visitor numbers came to the stand to find out about the company's broad spectrum of products and services.
X-TEC plug-in connectors and W-TEC power cables in several power classes were on show. The X-TEC / W-TEC15 industrial connectors were once again on the stand. The compact high-performance plug-in connector is a cost-efficient alternative to the large square plugs that are frequently used. Furthermore, the sturdy T-distributor ensured that energy could be distributed uniformly from a main connection to several geared motors. This was aptly illustrated at the SPS using a conveyor belt that had been especially set up for the show: it featured all the necessary functions from the EnergyLink modular system for operating the unit.
In the field of services for mechanical and plant engineering, the LQ Group used digital towers to showcase its expertise in the assembly of modular switchgear cabinets, energy cable carriers and cable assembly. Simulation of an innovative system configurator illustrated how time and money can be saved for control and installation technology right from the design phase.
