Four organisations are receiving donations from LQ

For many years now, LQ Mechatronik-Systeme has donated to charities in the run-up to Christmas. Instead of gifts for business partners, the Besigheim-based company is supporting four social projects.

Friedrich P. Link, Managing Director of LQ Mechatronik-Systeme, set out the company's philosophy: "It is important that the organisations we donate to have a connection to the region." The children's initiative "Herzenssache" (matters of the heart) focuses on children in Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and the Saarland. This organisation collects donations and distributes these to selected charitable organisations that are active in work with children and young people. Since 2000, the association has supported more than 800 projects for children and young people in the south-west of Germany. The Mundelsheim Civic Trust also benefits from an annual donation from LQ. Revenues from the Trust and donations are used to set up and benefit charitable activities in Mundelsheim. "These initiatives create a community spirit in our local town," he added. "Helferherz" is a project of the Ludwigsburg district newspaper (Ludwigsburger Kreiszeitung) and, with its donation, LQ is supporting a charitable organisation in the rural district of Ludwigsburg that ensures that local help is provided quickly where it is actually required. Donations made to the welfare centre in Freiburg go to an organisation that provides compassionate and effective support both for the people it provides care for and also for their relatives.
