WhyLQ? Because you can contribute your ideas from day one

Our success is based on the quality of our products and the dedication of our team — which is always in need of reinforcement.

Professionals Direct entry at LQ is worthwhile

At LQ Mechatronik-Systeme, employees work every day on the brain and nervous system of every machine—the control and installation technology. Highly qualified employees from the fields of electrical engineering, mechatronics, and commercial management are needed to implement the company's philosophy. A diverse range of tasks and flat hierarchies await new employees at our location in the Ottmarsheimer Höhe industrial park in Besigheim.

Taking on responsibility at an early stage is encouraged and enables employees at LQ Mechatronik-Systeme to develop their skills and make a significant contribution to the success of the company.

Professional and personal development is specifically promoted through training and further education measures. A pleasant, respectful, and open working atmosphere is a matter of course for the company.

Trainees Taking responsibility right from the start

Starting your career begins with choosing the right apprenticeship and the right company. Medium-sized companies offer particular advantages when it comes to training: manageable structures provide security, flat hierarchies enable contact at all levels, and involvement in real projects is guaranteed from day one. At LQ, you can expect a dynamic team in a modern atmosphere and a constantly growing, exciting environment. As a system supplier of high-quality electromechanical components, LQ is the first port of call when it comes to quality right from the start – because every machine is only as good as its individual parts.
At LQ Mechatronik-Systeme GmbH, you can apply for the following apprenticeships:

  • Industrial clerk
  • Mechatronics engineer
  • Warehouse logistics specialist
  • IT specialist for application development

Exciting training years at LQ At LQ, experienced professionals take care of the trainees

During your training at LQ Mechatronik-Systeme GmbH, you will spend time in various departments at our site in Besigheim-Ottmarsheim that are relevant to your training. This will give you a comprehensive overview of our corporate structure and allow you to gain in-depth knowledge of our products, markets, and business processes. For your mechatronics training, you can take your first practical steps in our training workshop under real conditions, but in a protected atmosphere. In an interdisciplinary learning unit in the first year of training, our trainees learn early on to think outside the box. Training is based on the classic dual system, a mixture of theory and practice. The theoretical content is taught to our trainees at vocational school; they learn the practical part at LQ. We also support our trainees with specially designed in-house lessons, in which the knowledge acquired at school can be repeated and consolidated.

Successful learning in a protected environment Working hours, vacation policy, attractive offers

•    Start of training: Training at LQ begins annually on September 1.
•    Duration of Training:  The training period for industrial clerks and warehouse logistics specialists is usually 3 years, and 3.5 years for mechatronics engineers.
•    Location of Training: Training for industrial clerks takes place exclusively at our training location in Besigheim-Ottmarsheim. Individual training content for mechatronics engineers may be provided by a cooperating company in the immediate vicinity.
•    Time commitment: The weekly working time is 40 hours. You are entitled to 30 days of vacation per calendar year.
•    Benefits: LQ pays meal allowances for lunch and organizes regular employee events, such as summer parties, Christmas parties, etc.

There is generally a good chance of being hired by LQ after completing your training, as LQ trains employees for its own needs. Of course, we cannot guarantee that you will be hired; this depends primarily on your individual performance throughout the entire training period. Even after you are hired, we will be happy to support you in your professional development by offering appropriate further training opportunities. Just ask us about this during the interview.

Convince us! Step by step to signing the contract

Please send your complete application documents preferably by email to Ms. Vanessa Baudisch at personal(at)de.lq-group.com.

To ensure that the training is successful for both sides, we generally require a secondary school diploma, technical college entrance qualification, high school diploma, or a comparable school qualification. But school grades are not all that matters. The best way to convince us is with your commitment and personality.
That's why we're also interested in your leisure activities and social engagement. Let us know what volunteer work or clubs you're involved in and where your commitment is appreciated.

Please include the following documents with your application:

•    A compelling cover letter
•    A tabular resume
•    School reports from the last 3 years
•    Any other certificates you have for internships, volunteer work, language courses, stays abroad, etc.

Once we have received your application, you will receive confirmation from us. If we like your documents, we will invite you to an interview. If there is mutual interest, you will get to know us better during a half-day taster day. If this also goes well, we will make you a training offer.
